DAY 01: Arrival in Bentota

Day 1:

Bentota – Beach & River Safari

Begin your journey with a warm airport welcome and a scenic drive to Bentota, Sri Lanka’s most famous beach town. Visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to witness vital conservation efforts, then set off on a tranquil boat safari along the Madu River, gliding through mangroves and island waterways. End the day with a sunset stroll on Bentota Beach before settling in for an overnight stay.

DAY 02: Galle

Day 2:

Colonial Heritage & Hidden Beaches

Travel to Galle on a short coastal drive and step back in time with a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, rich in Dutch and Portuguese heritage. Continue to the serene Japanese Peace Pagoda for sweeping ocean views before unwinding at Jungle Beach, a secluded bay ideal for swimming. Conclude the day with a sunset walk along the historic ramparts before an overnight stay in Galle.

DAY 03: Mirissa

Day 3:

Whale Watching & Beachside Bliss

Start the day early with an unforgettable whale watching excursion, where you may spot blue whales, dolphins, and other marine life in their natural habitat. Spend the afternoon unwinding on the golden sands of Mirissa Beach or dive into adventure with snorkeling and surfing. Before sunset, take in the panoramic views from Coconut Tree Hill, one of Sri Lanka’s most photographed spots, before settling in for an overnight stay in Weligama.

DAY 04: Tangalle

Hummanaya Blowhole is the only known blowhole in Sri Lanka. The Hummanaya Blowhole is located near Kudawella, 28 km from Matara and 12 km from Tangalle.

Day 04:

Secluded Beaches & Turtle Nesting

Journey south to Tangalle, a coastal haven known for its untouched beauty and turquoise waters. Visit Rekawa Beach to witness turtle nesting, then explore the natural wonder of Hummanaya Blowhole, the world’s second largest. Later, escape the crowds at Silent Beach, where peace and seclusion await. End the day with a relaxing overnight stay in Tangalle.

DAY 05: Departure from Colombo

Farewell from Colombo

Conclude your adventure with a scenic drive back to Colombo via the Southern Expressway. If time allows, take an optional city tour, visiting landmarks such as Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, and the bustling Pettah Market for last-minute shopping. Finally, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
