DAY 01: Arrival in Negombo

Day 1:

Coastal Gateway

Arrive in Sri Lanka and transfer to Negombo, a charming fishing town with Dutch and Portuguese influences. Explore the bustling Fish Market, see the Dutch Fort and St. Mary’s Church, then enjoy a sunset boat ride across Negombo Lagoon. Overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 2:

Sacred Beginnings

Travel north to Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka’s first royal capital. Visit the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi Tree, believed to be the oldest documented tree in the world, and admire the grandeur of the Ruwanwelisaya Stupa. Overnight stay in Anuradhapura.

Day 3: 

Ancient Temples & Lakes

Continue your exploration with a visit to Thuparamaya Dagoba and Isurumuniya Temple. Take a meditative walk around the tranquil Tissa Wewa Lake before spending another night in Anuradhapura.

Day 4

Sunrise Adventure

Journey to Sigiriya and climb Pidurangala Rock at sunrise, offering unmatched views of the Sigiriya Lion Rock. Later, explore the Dambulla Cave Temple, famous for its ancient Buddhist murals and statues. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

The Ancient Kingdom

Step into the medieval capital of Polonnaruwa. Explore the Royal Palace, marvel at the rock-cut Buddhas of Gal Vihara, and see the beautifully designed Lotus Pond. End the day relaxing by the shores of Parakrama Samudra Lake. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Culture & Serenity

Drive south through spice gardens in Matale before reaching Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural heart. Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, Gadaladeniya Temple, and enjoy a lakeside walk capped with a vibrant Kandyan dance performance. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Highland Escape

Set out early for Horton Plains National Park, hiking across misty grasslands to reach World’s End and Baker’s Falls. Continue to Nuwara Eliya, where you’ll enjoy an evening tea tasting at a colonial-era tea estate. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Farewell from Colombo

Conclude your adventure with a scenic drive back to Colombo. Enjoy last-minute shopping at Pettah Market or take a brief city tour before your transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure.
